Verint Integration with the CCI2D25R/CCI2D43R CVS Cameras.
Environment:
Verint Edge DVR: VR200, ver 28.2.4.31
Verint EdgeVMS Vid-Center 10.1.6
Costar Cameras: CCI2D25R/CCI2D43R
Integration Steps:
1. Open a Web Browser to the camera's IP address and log into "WebGuard" using the camera's credentials.
2. A new Window named "Live" will open, Click on "Remote Setup"
3. A new window will appear named "IP Camera Remote Setup"
4. Login using the camera's credentials one more time.
5. Navigate to the Event Tab and Click on "Motion Detection"
6. Check the "Motion Detection" checkbox and Click Save.
7. Close out all windows after configurations are saved.
8. Open the Verint EdgeVMS Vid-Center and log in to your DVR Server.
9. Navigate to "Setup DVR" under Task Center.
10. Select your DVR Number under "Task Action"
11. Double Click on "Auto Config Cameras" - This is the ONVIF Discovery which will discover ONVIF-compliant cameras in your network within the same subnet.
12. Once Discovery is complete, 2 New Windows will open: 1st window is named "Cameras" and the 2nd window named "Unconfigured Devices".
13. All newly discovered cameras will reside in the Unconfigured Devices window. Find your CCI2D25R or CCI2D43R from the list.
14. Assign a camera number from the "Camera Num" column's drop-down menu then click OK.
15. A new Window will open named "Device Username and Password" - Enter the camera credentials then Click OK.
16. Click OK on the "Cameras" window
17. A new message will then pop up stating that the DVR will reboot. Click OK to continue.
18. Click on “Disconnect” in the Vid-Center to disconnect from your DVR and the DVR will reboot
after. It will take a few minutes until your DVR is back online.
19. Connect back to your DVR (Using Vid-Center) - Navigate to “Live Video” and under “Task Actions” click on your DVR to expand it. The camera isenrolled, and you can drag and drop it on the right window to see the live image.
20. Open the Vid-Center - Connect to your DVR - Under “Task Center” select “Setup DVRs” - Under “Task Actions” expand your DVR - Navigate to “Custom Camera Settings” - Double Click on it
21. A new window will open named “Custom Cameras Settings” - Select your camera from the drop-down list.
*Note: If you would like to set up multi-streams, check the “Enable separate stream for
Live (multi-stream).
22. Enable the features you would like to configure on the camera via Vid-Center by checking
desired checkboxes.
For example, if you would like to change the fps, check the “Frame Rate” check box.
23. Click on “OK” to save the settings.
24. Your DVR needs to reboot to apply the changes.
25. Click on “Disconnect” in Vid-Center to reboot your DVR - It will take a few minutes until your DVR reboots and come back online.
Once you have added a CCI2D25R or CCI2D43R to the system, you will not need to go through Step 2 again.
1. Connect to your DVR via Vid-Center - Under “Task Center” Click on “Setup DVRs” - Under “Task Action” Select your DVR and expand it - Navigate to “Camera setup” and Double click on it
2. Cameras” window will open up - For any free (unused) channel, open the drop-down under column “Type” and you will see that the driver you used in the past, is at the top of the list and you can Select it.
In the below example, the CH1 camera was added using Step2 in this document and after that,
the “COSTAR CCI2D43R (ONVIF)” driver will be available in the drop-down for other channels.
3. Pick a free channel in your DVR and open the “Type” drop-down.
4. Select “COSTAR CCI2D43R (ONVIF)” or “COSTAR CCI2D25R (ONVIF)” driver
5. Type your new camera(s) IP under “Address Port” then Click on “OK” to save the settings
6. Your DVR needs to reboot to apply the changes.
7. Click on “Disconnect” in Vid-Center to reboot your DVR
