FAQ: Adding a Camera to the Central Point Recorder.

Adding a camera to the Central Point recorder.  

Resolution:

To add a camera to the Central point recorder is pretty simple if the default credentials is admin:admin.  It is as simple as plugging the camera directly to the back of the recorder and it should populate.  

If the credentials of the camera is something other than admin:admin, please follow the steps below. 

1. At the NVR, Right Click on any box and select Camera Registration. (If you do not see that, you will need to log in first.)
   
2. The recorder should find the camera. Click on the camera.
   
3. Enter the username and password of the camera to the right and click check.
   
4. Go to the camera in the table and click on the Assign Column and assign the camera to a Channel and click apply
   
5. Click the "x" at the top right. 

The camera should be displaying in multi-screen and full-screen views.
