Issue:
Support sent a link to the support FTP site and you cannot open the link.
Solution:
If you are using Google Chrome, Google Chrome recently turned off it FTP client abilities by default. There are 2 fixes for this issue.
1. Copy the link and paste the link in Internet Explorer.
2. Configure Google Chrome to allow FTP sites. Here are the steps to turn on the FTP for Google Chrome.
- Open Google Chrome and type chrome://flags in the URL bar.
- In the search bar at the top type in FTP.
- Change the drop-down from Default to Enable.
- Click Relaunch at the bottom right. This will close the browser and re-open the browser.
You can now paste the FTP URL into the URL bar or click the link. Everything should now work.
