Firmware Upgrade to a Starnet Camera through the Starnet Software

Issue: Camera needs to be upgraded but the recorder is in a remote location.

Resolution: Push the Firmware upgrade through the Starnet Software

Pre-Requisite: A PC with the Starnet Software loaded and the recorder registered.

1. Please go to Costarvideo.com to download the firmware at the following link: 
   https://www.costarvideo.com/Products/starnet-cameras
2. Extract the firmware
3. Open the Starnet Software and login
4. Right-click on the recorder that the camera is connected to and select Remote Setup
5. Click on Camera and then Upgrade
6. Locate the camera that needs the firmware upgrade and click in the Firmware Upgrade box to the right for that camera.
7. Select the .rui file that you downloaded and extracted in step 1 and click Open
8. Click Upgrade at the bottom right below the table.  The firmware upgrade process will start.  Please do not reboot the PC or recorder while the upgrade is in process.  After the upgrade process finishes on your PC please allow up to 7 minutes for the recorder to become fully operational.
