One of the most useful options is the *SPARTA_DR_8364 (the name will be different based on the recorder model). When you hover over this option, a new window will appear. The top half contains the recorder information, while the bottom half contains information about the selected camera (model, MAC, IP address, etc.). On our Starnet product line, we can get the serial number of a device by the MAC address.
Copy Information is useful if you are doing email or chat assistance. It copies the information we just discussed and the information displayed on the top right to the clipboard. The end-user can now paste that into an email or chat window. Below is an example of Copy Information:

Report Tab:
The report tab typically looks like this:
If you hold down the buttons and right-click in the area highlighted by the pink box. More menu options will appear in the drop-down box.
The most useful option here is the Device Debug Log when troubleshooting remotely. Information about reboots or corrupt hard drives can be found here. This file is sent to Engineering if the technician is not able to travel to the site to get the dump file directly off the recorder.
Note: It is always best to get the dump file directly from the recorder whenever possible.
