How to apply a firmware update to a 3212-2000

Issue:

The 3212-2000 needs to have a firmware update applied.

Prerequisites:

• The camera needs to be powered on and connected to the network.
• Download the latest firmware file to the PC.

Resolution:

1. Log onto the cameras web interface and navigate to Configuration > Maintenance. Click on the Folder icon that is located on the update line.
   
   
   
   
2. Navigate to the file location.  Click on the firmware file and click Open. 
   
   
   
   
3. Click Update.  The camera is now upgrading.  Do not close the browser or power cycle the camera.  Allow up to 5 minutes for the camera to be fully functional after the upgrading message reaches 100%.
   
   
   
   
4. When the upgrade is finished, the login screen will appear.  Log onto the camera and verify the firmware version.
