Issue:
There are 2 alarm outputs on the 3212-2000. The alarm outputs need to be configured to turn green for normal temperatures and red for anyone with a temperature over the set threshold.
Prerequisites:
- The camera must be powered on and connected to the network.
- The camera must have firmware version v3.6.0825.1004.75.0.20.0.4_20200610 or newer.
- The green light must be wired to Alarm Output 1.
- The red light must be wired to Alarm Output 2.
- The camera must be set up and functioning properly.

This walk-through will cover the following sections:

- High-Temperature Alarm Limit Setup
- Navigate and log into the web interface of the camera.
- Click the Configuration tab.
- Navigate to Alarm > Alarm Output.
- Configure Alarm Output 1 (green light) as follows:
- Name: Normal Temp
- Valid Signal: Close (this tells the camera when an alarm output is activated to either open or close the circuit).
- Alarm Output Mode: Switch Mode
- Alarm Time: 1500
- Specify the time in milliseconds you want the light to stay on.

We recommend 3600. This will leave the light on for 3.6 seconds.
- 0 will leave the light on permanently.
- Timing Alarm Output: Off
- Manual Control: Used for testing to verify you wired the light correctly.
- Manually trigger the alarm output by clicking Start.
- Click Stop when finished.
- Click Apply.
- An example of how Alarm Output 1 should be configured is below. Repeat Step 4 for Alarm Output 2 (red light).
- Click Temperature Measurement > Normal Temperature Alarm.
- Configure it as follows.
- Enable: ON.
- Output Channel: Put a checkmark next to 1.
- Leave the next 3 options defaulted.
- Apply a schedule by clicking and dragging it across the times you want it active.
- Click Apply.
- Click High-Temperature Alarm.
- Configure it as follows:
- Enable: ON.
- Output Channel: Put a checkmark next to 2.
- Leave the next 3 options defaulted.
- Apply a schedule by clicking and dragging it across the times you want it active.
- Click Apply.
