ISSUE: We need to add a new TVI camera to the Recorder and make sure we have "Up the Coax", UTC Remote Control of Zoom and Focus
Resolution: After proper Installation of the TVI camera you will have remote control of the Zoom and Focus of that camera.
1. Once the image from the camera is visible (a reboot maybe necessary) on the live GUI, navigate to the SETUP and go to CAMERA.
2. On the General menu make sure that all cams to be recorded are checked on the left side, all say normal as far as Use, and the Type says Auto(HD-TVI).
3. Click on PTZ at the top. A disclaimer will populate. Click OK on the disclaimer.
4. Set the Mode is set to UTC. Change the Product to C-protocol (H) if using our CDT2Sxxx cameras, if using the CDT2Hxxx or CDT4hxxxx you will use C-protocol (P). Click Save. Click anywhere not on a icon to get back to the live image. If using Starnet skip to 6b. If in front of the recorder please move onto the next step.
5. You will notice a Capital pink "P" at the top left of the image. Right click on the image and select PTZ.
6a. This action makes the pink "P" start flashing. Once flashing move your mouse to the center bottom. The PTZ controls will pop up. The Zoom and Focus buttons in the middle will be the only buttons that will operate the cameras lens.
6b. If using StarNet you select the PTZ knob on the left side of the menu bar that pops up at the bottom of the grid or right click and select PTZ Control. The controls for Zoom and Focus are located there to remotely zoom and focus from StarNet.
