Central Point: How to add a recorder.

Issue:  Just downloaded and installed Central Point on a PC.  Need to register a recorder. 

Resolution: Do a local search for the recorder if it is connected to the same logical and physical network.

Pre-Requisite: Central Point Recorder powered on and physically connected to the same network as the PC.  PC Powered on and Central Point software open and logged in. 

1. Navigate to the top left and click on Central Point and then Setup. 
2. A new window will open.  Click on Search Device. 
3. The Device Search window will open and start scanning for the Central Point recorder.  Once the recorder has been located.  Click the box to the left of the recorder and select Add Device. 
4. The recorder will register to the Central Point software.  Click Close at the bottom right.  This will take you to the Setup window.  Click Save then Done then Close. 

The recorder has been added to the Central Point software.  The recorder will be located on the left in the Device tree.
