Issue:
You need to change the IP address of a StarNet camera to use as an ONVIF camera.
Resolution:
StarNet cameras come in two protocols now, DirectNet and DirectNet 2.0. At the beginning to change the IP address of a StarNet camera, you had to change the protocol from DirectNet to INEX or OPEN IP, depending on the version of INIT.
In the instance above you would need to change the protocol to OPEN IP or INEX and then change the IP address of the camera. Once the mode is changed the IP Address Setup text becomes highlighted. On DirectNet cams the IP Address Setup is grayed out until that mode gets changed.
In the case above the camera is a DirectNet 2.0 and the IP Adress Setup text is lit up for access.
