Issue:
You need to change the IP address of a Costar ONVIF 3rd party camera to an address you can use. IP Search SW comes in a folder and the IP Search executable program has to run from the folder. Once downloaded and unzipped just open the folder to find the IP Search executable file and click on it to start the program. See below.
You can however leave the executable file in the folder and just create a shortcut to it for your desktop. The shortcut will look like this.
Once the program is open it will look like this below.
Multicast Search:
On this screen, you can click Start to have the program search your local network for Costar ONVIF cameras. See below a camera that has been located.
You can use IP Search to gain access to the camera menu as well. Double click the line the camera is on to open its web page.
Active Search:
When you click the Active Search button the below screen pops up.
On this screen, you can have IP Search do a range of IP addresses to locate cameras on the network. Input the IP range you wish to search in the BeginIP and the EndIP. The port generally stays at 30001 for Costar ONVIF cameras. Click Add and that will result in the screen below.
Once the desired camera has been located you can fill out the right side of the screen with the IP information you wish the camera to have. Once filled out click Modify to make changes to your camera's IP address. If you select; Device obtain an IP address automatically, the program will go out onto your network to find an unused IP address and assign it to the camera.
